So the first item to consider is taking the proper safety precautions. This means fall protection in place. Have a stable latter and do not work in an enclosed environment. You will also want to check with your town on where to properly dispose of any left over material.
Clean the roof with a good cleaner such as Dawn or Simple Green. We also suggest adding two cups of bleach to kill any mold spores that might be on the roof. Any dirt or oil will hinder proper adhesion of the Rv Roof Magic. The roof needs to be 100% dry before application. Also note that you should do an inspection of the seams. Any gaps or holes you can fix but applying the Rubex caulk offered on our order form.
28’ 1994 Bounder. I cleaned the roof as directed. The roof was dry. Temp about 70. After application there were quite a few small bubbles and some big bubbles. I’m hoping the big ones will go away as it cures for a couple of days. Why the bubbles?
bubbles are sometime the result of a thicker application or wet underneath
thank you
Sure that is normal part of the drying process particularly when it is applied thicker in certain areas
thank you
