Over the years there have been many various types of coatings for Rv’s. Acrylic-water based, solvent based, elastomerics, epoxies etc. All these have several benefits and well disadvantages. Over the years we had looked at what the RV industry really required in a product. There were several main items that kept surfacing and based on that research RVroofMagic was created.
RV owners demand a product that takes little time to set up. In Particular we discovered many rv owners enjoy working on their rv while they are visiting an rv park.
A one coat product. The easier a system is to deliver to an rv owner a quality product will little fuss the more successful it will be. We took it one step further and in addition to providing a one coat produce we have formulated a product that allows it to be applied on all surface types. For the rv owner who purchased a used rv many have no idea what the original roof is made of let alone what type of coating was put on the roof over the years. With RVroofmagic you are not at any limitation it will go over a 3rd party rv coating without the use of a primer. For questions please call at 855-281-0907
I have a 1997 Fleetwood Bounder 34′ and the roof for the most part has turned black. The previous owner attempted to apply some kind of coating that has peeled off almost completely and leaves me afraid to apply anything over it without priming the roof first as suggested on the EPDM web site. I have read your information thoroughly and hope that RVMagic will do the job with correct preperation before application. On the other hand, I am not against priming the roof anyway before applying RVMagic coating. Please let me know what you think.
Thanks
Hi for rvroofmagic no primer is needed. just be sure the surface is perfectly dry. also clean with dawn and two cups of bleach for every gallon of water along with your detergent
Thank you
correct the rvmagic will work fine here but you do need to be sure that all the loose material is removed so it it not picked up during the application of the rvroofmagic with the roller
thank you
I love the idea of that the RV Roof magic can go on any previous coats of paint on RV’s with a primer. Do you know if the sell RV Roofmagic in Australia?
