I also followed the directions step by step. Large bubbles as I mentioned but after about 2 weeks they went down. It seems a little sticky when I walk on it but no bubbles anymore with a good seal. I keep this on a mountain all drummer long. I will send another update at the end of the year .

Let me know if your bubbles go away. I flash coated and have big bubbles.
